HOW TO BE A “25 for 25” CHAMPION
For the past 25 years, cancer mortality rates for African Americans compared to Caucasians have been declining, but the current rate of 14% higher mortality is unacceptable. Massey Cancer Center has been and will continue to be a leader in addressing cancer health disparities. Join us and be a catalyst for advancements in cancer health equity by 2025.
WHAT IS 25 for 25?
25 for 25 is a 25-day public education and fundraising campaign during the month of October to raise awareness of the health disparities that exist in cancer and what Massey is doing to address them.
- Daily facts presented on Facebook
- Daily e-mails to registered health equity champions
- Educational webinars, videos & more!
WHY GET INVOLVED?
Change isn’t made in a day. Massey’s researchers are at the forefront of understanding health disparities in cancer and by learning what the root causes are, we can help make a difference for generations to come. Help us raise funds, awareness and be an active part of this conversation.
