I have pedaled up to 50K the MASSEY Way!
On Saturday, May 4th at 9am, Dr. Martins and I will lead a 50K bike ride starting and ending at the Pony Pasture Parking Lot. There will be a post-ride breakfast and drinks at Dr. Renato Martins’ house, right next to the Pont Pasture entrance.
Co-Captain's: Dr. Renato Martins and Rachel Wilson
I have accepted the Massey Challenge, presented by Apex Systems, a division of ASGN incorporated, because I want to see a world without cancer. VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is working to save lives and find cures right here in Virginia. To support their life-saving cancer research, I have accepted the Massey Challenge to fundraise and give my miles meaning at this very special 50K. 4 years ago, I proudly joined the Massey Cancer Center as a way to give back to those who cared for my family and friends who were affected by cancer. It has been an incredible journey, and I am grateful to be able to make a difference in patients' lives.
By fundraising for Massey, my 50K will have special meaning and honor those I love who are battling – or have battled cancer.
Let's work together to put cancer on the run! Will you make a donation towards my fundraising goal or, even better, join my team?
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you might have! rachel.wilson@vcuhealth.org
Looking forward to seeing you on May 4th!
