Play It Forward
October 4 - 6, 2024
WHAT:
A weekend for advocates, champions, and friends rallying to help find a cure for women’s cancers.
Join us to serve up hope and advance women's cancer research at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Cocktail Party - Friday, October 4, 2024 | 7-10pm
Kids Tournament - Saturday, October 5, 2024 | 1-4pm
Ladies Doubles Tournament (Team Levels 5.5 and below) - Sunday, October 6, 2024 | 4-7pm
Ladies Doubles Tournament (Team Levels 6.0 and above) - Saturday, October 6, 2024 | 1-7pm

Cocktail Party | Friday, Oct. 4, 7-10pm
- Players and non-players are invited to purchase tickets for the inaugural Play It Forward cocktail party.
- The event will take place on the tennis courts at Courtside West.
- Ticket includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine, auction and entertainment
- $75 per person.
- Tickets on sale August 15.
Kids Tournament | Saturday, Oct. 5, 1-4pm
- Boys and girls grades 5-8 are invited to participate in this match play event.
- Maximum of 24 players.
- Players must be a green dot ball - intermediate yellow ball player and able to play games.
- Fundraise or donate $50 to enter.
- Check-in opens at 12:45pm.

Ladies Doubles Tournament | Saturday, Oct. 5, 4-7pm + Sunday, Oct. 6, 1-7pm
- Maximum of 72 players (split into 3 sections of 24 max. based on self-reported NTRP rankings)
- Sat. 4-7pm - Ladies First Section (teams 5.5 and below NTRP joint ranking)
- Sun. 1-4pm - Ladies Second Section (teams on or about 6.0 NTRP joint ranking)
- Sun. 4-7pm - Ladies Third Section (teams 6.5 - 8 NTRP joining ranking)
- Entry is $100 (or more!) per individual.
- Entry amount can be donated personally or fundraised.
- Highest fundraising team will get a prize.
- You do not have to be a player to be a part of a fundraising team!
- Check-in opens at 30 minutes before section start time.
- Start time will vary upon level of play.
- Email communication will be sent prior to the event with confirmed start time.

All donations are accepted and greatly appreciated! If you would like to make a straight donation to benefit Massey without registering for the event, please select the “DONATE” button on Play It Forward’s home page and fill in the required information.
Players and non-players are welcome to create a peer-fundraising profile to Play it Forward, and raise funds to fight for a future without cancer! Sign-up to fundraise here.

Every registrant has their own “personal campaign” within their account. Be more than just a participant by sharing your story and motivation to participate in this year’s Play It Forward!
