This April I will be running (ok there will DEFINITELY be some walking) the Monument 10K in Richmond. I’m taking on the Massey Challenge to to give my miles meaning and stride toward a world without cancer. I’ll be running this 10k in honor of my uncle who is currently fighting his own battle against cancer. I’m inspired by his strength and the strength of all his loved ones throughout this journey and hope that it will carry me through to the finish line!

VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is working tirelessly to find cures and save lives. It is one of only two NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the state and it is among the top 4 percent of cancer centers in the country performing groundbreaking research and care.
