My name is Anastasia Edwards and I am a nurse at VCU adult oncology/hematology. I was blessed with the opportunity to start this job back in August as a new grad nurse. I am able to work with patients, day in and day out, through some of the worst moments in their life. Helping them fight their way to a cure. I have accepted the Massey Challenge, presented by Apex Systems, a division of ASGN Incorporated, because I want to see a world without cancer. VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is working to save lives and find cures right here in Virginia. To support their life-saving cancer research, I have accepted the Massey Challenge to fundraise and to give my miles meaning at the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.
By fundraising for Massey, my 10k will have special meaning and honor those I love who are battling – or have battled cancer.
