Parker Cullinan

I am being bold, and I am dreaming big! I have accepted the Massey Challenge because I want to see a world without cancer.

My name is Parker Cullinan, and I'm a current sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduate of St. Christopher's (c.o. 2022). Throughout my time at St. Christopher's I participated in the Massey Challenge every year, and led the team as captain my junior and senior years. As this team and initiative are so dear to my heart, I have decided to help out once again this year!

I am participating in the Massey Challenge in support of my father, Sean Cullinan, who peacefully passed in November of 2020 after a four-and-a-half year battle with colon cancer. Seeing the effect of this disease on my family and others around me, it has become a passion to work towards silencing the disease that silenced my own father.

VCU Massey Cancer Center is working to save lives and find cures in Virginia, and, to support their life-saving cancer research, I have accepted the Massey Challenge to fundraise and to make my miles matter at the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.

By fundraising for Massey, my 10k will have special meaning and honor those I love who are battling – or have battled cancer.

I hope you will consider making a donation towards a great cause! Let's work together to put cancer on the run!

Best,
Parker Cullinan
