Over the years I have had quite a few family members who have been faced with cancer. Some have been inspirations in their drive to fight, while others unfortunately have not been so lucky to win their battle. I raise money for this event in honor of my aunt Julie & Tara my great aunts Linda, Joanie, Melanie, Titi & Pat and my great grandfather Papa NoNo. Doing research to help find new cures to this disease is very important. Please help me in raising money so I can help make a difference.

I have have stepped up to 10k the MASSEY Way!

I have accepted the Massey Challenge, presented by Apex Systems, a division of ASGN incorporated, because I want to see a world without cancer. VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is working to save lives and find cures right here in Virginia.  To support their life-saving cancer research, I have accepted the Massey Challenge to fundraise and to give my miles meaning at the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.

By fundraising for Massey, my 10k will have special meaning and honor those I love who are battling – or have battled cancer.
