--the 50th anniversary of Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center
--the 25th anniversary of the Monument Avenue 10K, and
--the 62nd anniversary of MY birth.
To celebrate, I am going to run the 10k (6.2 miles). Will you join me to walk, run, volunteer, or to cheer on others from the sideline? And will you help find cures for cancer?
By fundraising for Massey, my 10k will have special meaning. I will remember my father, grandmother and cousin who died of cancer, and relatives and friends who are battling cancer now.
I've donated the first $50, representing the first 50 years of Massey. Will you contribute toward the next 50 years of saving lives? Consider $25 for the 10K anniversary, $50 for Massey's anniversary, or $62 for my anniversary, and $10 per mile of the 10k. Any amount helps. Thank you!
