Doug's seven-year journey with cancer ended with his passing on May 24th, 2023. His beloved team of doctors from VCU's Massey Cancer Center were with him every step of the way. In memory of his hard-fought battle, we are asking for donations to be directed to Team Massey in order to pay it forward for those who continue to fight. All donations will be directed to Massey's Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, whom he credited with giving him a "re-birthday" and many subsequent years of travel, experiences, and time with his family and friends.
