My mother helps fight cancer every day by being a cancer doctor. I aspire to have the same work ethic and courage as she does. In 2016, I lost my grandfather to cancer. My life changed after he passed, but his impact on me has shaped (and continues to) the person I am today. My grandfather’s legacy and my mother’s continuous hard work are what drive me to support the fight against cancer.

VCU Massey Cancer Center is working to save lives and find cures right here in Virginia, and, to support their life-saving cancer research, I have accepted the Massey Challenge and joined Team St. ChristoCURES to fundraise and to make my miles matter at the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.
