As a co-captain of the St. ChristoCURES team, I am beyond excited to begin fundraising again for the Massey Cancer Center. In 2016, my grandfather passed away from cancer. His passing was an eye-opening moment in which I realized first-hand that cancer, unfortunately, constantly takes the lives of family members, friends, and loved ones. Additionally, my mother, an angel, puts every bit of her effort into saving the lives of many women who are diagnosed with cancer, as she is a gynecologic oncologist.

To support the Massey Cancer Center's life-saving research to help find a cure for cancer, I have accepted the Massey Challenge to fundraise and give my miles meaning at the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.
