I have accepted the Massey Challenge because I want to see a world without cancer. I am raising money and running in the Monument Avenue 10k for my Grandfather, Bepaw, who died of cancer, and all the others that are suffering or have people close to them suffering from cancer. I wish that Bepaw could have stayed longer and that I could have gotten to know him as I got older myself, but cancer doesn't discriminate. I hope that the money that I raise will go towards helping the many like me who wish that their loved ones could have stayed with them a just little while longer.
VCU Massey Cancer Center is working to save lives and find cures right here in Virginia, and, to support their life-saving cancer research, I have accepted the Massey Challenge to fundraise and to make my miles matter at the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.
Will you make a donation towards my fundraising goal or join my team? Let's work together to put cancer on the run!
