Time to lace up those running shoes again! I have accepted the Massey Challenge because I want to see a world without cancer.
VCU Massey Cancer Center is working to save lives and find cures right here in Virginia, and, to support their life-saving cancer research, I have accepted the Massey Challenge to fundraise and to make my miles matter at the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.
By fundraising for Massey, my 10k will have special meaning and honor those I love who are battling – or have battled cancer.
Having done my residency at VCU Medical Center, I have worked at Massey Cancer Center and have seen firsthand the amazing things they do and the tons of people they help. It is full of dedicated and selfless people who are dedicated to helping fight cancer and help the people of Virginia (and beyond!). They also are passionate teachers, helping train future generations of excellent hematologists & oncologists.
Will you make a donation towards my fundraising goal or join my team? Let's work together to put cancer on the run!
